Growing Good Corn!

May 30, 2009 by kiboenterprises

Somebody sent this to me and I thought it was worth re-posting.
It goes hand in hand with the ‘teach a man to fish’ story…

Author Unknown

There once was a farmer who grew award-winning corn. Each year he entered his corn in the state fair where it won a blue ribbon.
One year a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learned something interesting about how he grew it. The reporter discovered that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors.
“How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?” the reporter asked.

“Why sir,” said the farmer, “didn`t you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn.”

He is very much aware of the connectedness of life. His corn cannot improve unless his neighbor`s corn also improves.

So it is with our lives. Those who choose to live in peace must help their neighbors to live in peace. Those who choose to live well must help others to live well, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to be happy must help others to find happiness, for the welfare of each is bound up with the welfare of all.

The lesson for each of us is this: if we are to grow good corn, we must help our neighbors grow good corn.

It is possible to give away and become richer! It is also possible to hold on too tightly and lose everything.

Got Lots Of Affiliate Sites To Promote?

May 28, 2009 by kiboenterprises

If you’re like most network marketers then you’ll have a host of different programs and resources to keep track of, advertising sites and programs you’ve joined, safelists and traffic exchanges you use – and most of these have affiliate programs, so, naturally, you want to promote them as well as use them. Most will give you added benefits for recruiting new members, and many will give you cold hard cash.

But there’s one problem – promoting all of these is a lot of hard work and dilutes your efforts!

Solution? Find a downline builder which allows you to enter all your program id’s and promote using just one link. And here’s one I’ve found which offers more programs to promote than any other I’ve seen, as well as some other useful extras.

MMT Replacement

May 24, 2009 by kiboenterprises

With the announcement by MMT that MMT Plus will only be
open to US residents, the MMT Pro Members Group has
withdrawn, as so many of us are not in the US and have now
lost all faith in the whole idea of MMT. As one of my
colleagues put it, ‘they have shot themselves in the foot’
- I would say committed internet suicide more like!

That’s all behind us, and we’re moving on, feeling
stronger as a team than before thanks to the sharp
learning curve we’ve climbed over the last month, and
ready to put an extra effort into our business.

Our team leaders are putting together an alternative
package which will include many of the features that
had been promised on the other side ie social net-
working and shopping, but with the added bonus of
supporting a humanitarian foundation, working to
improve the environment and economic sustainability,
among other things.

If you’d like to be kept up to date with developments,
please skype me on bachapman59 and I’ll add you to
our team so that you receive updates.

MMT – What’s Happening?

May 13, 2009 by kiboenterprises

There continue to be update calls issued, and we have been
assured that software issues are being addressed, which will
result in major improvements.  And additional sources of income
have been added as a sweetener to counteract some of the
disappointment over the launch last week!

So is this still an attractive proposition, given all the bad press
over the launch last week?

Of course it is, bearing in mind the potential of this site, and is
everyone forgetting the glitches involved in so many other
big launches? I know I am glad they closed the site as soon
as they were aware of the bugs, and didn’t wait until it crashed
or caused problems for people who weren’t getting paid etc.

So let’s wait for the relaunch, position yourself with a strong team,
and prepare to make some money!

MMT Launches…

May 9, 2009 by kiboenterprises

and crashes! The long-awaited launch finally happened yesterday – well, nearly midnight in the UK, and a few people managed to get signed up before the site was shut down – it now displays the following:

DO TO TECHNICAL PROBLEMS MMT PLUS WILL BE DOWN UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

ALL USERS WHO MADE A PAYMENT WILL BE CREDITED FOR THE THE NEXT MONTH AND WILL

AUTOMACTICALLY QUAILFY FOR REVENUE PROFIT SHARE.

THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENTS AND SUPPORT.

So, it’s back to playing the waiting game, until we find out what will happen next.

On the positive side, MyMusicTicket.com has seen some improvements, with new servers added so all the pages load a lot faster than they did, but there still seem to be some bugs on there – for instance, I can only access one page of my friends, and the first few people I added who appear in the side bar to the left – all the others I can’t get to! And no, I don’t think it’s just me being stupid – I’ve tried everything!

Ho hum, well after a very late night I’m off to take it easy for the rest of the day.

Twitter From Gmail

May 8, 2009 by kiboenterprises

Do you twitter? Do you use gmail? Great, but did you know you can
now access your twitter account from your gmail account, making
gmail even more useful – email, chat, calendar, docs – and now twitter!

Here’s how you do it:

login to your gmail account
look to see if you have a little green icon like a test tube along the top, between your email address and settings
if not, click settings, then gadgets, and enable gadgets, you should then get the green test tube (this indicates ‘labs’ ie experimental bits and pieces!)
once you have this icon, click on it, then click ‘gadgets’ and add the following url:  http://twittergadget.com/gadget_gmail.xml

You will then be able to access your twitter account from your gmail – the box will appear in the left hand column, enter your username and password, select the time delay for updating, and click login. You will then see a mini feed from twitter, which will update automatically depending on the delay you selected.

Countdown To Launch Of MMTPlus

May 7, 2009 by kiboenterprises

That’s right, it’s now less than 24hrs to the launch of MMT Plus, the paying side of  MyMusicTicket.

If you haven’t already done so, sign up for your free account – you will need this to upgrade. Then make sure you’re lined up under a team so that you’re ready to go when the links are launched tomorrow.

Then we wait and see as, hopefully, history is made!

MMT – The Update!

April 29, 2009 by kiboenterprises

Any of you who were waiting for the launch of MyMusicTicket will, by now, have signed up for the free version, which launched on Saturday 25th April, after much hype and several delays. But finally we got the link from our team leaders and all dutifully signed up (I had to ‘bunk off’ work to get to a computer to do this, but that’s a different story!)

Now, we’re all waiting for the launch of MMT Plus, which will be the paid version, and the one we’re all hoping is going to make us a tidy sum in the months to come. This was due to be this week sometime, but now I’m told it won’t be until Sunday at the earliest, so it’s back to playing the waiting game.

Once this is launched, GCT Resources will include this in our Attraction Marketing system, which is really why we’re all so interested in this, and watching for the launch so patiently…..

Official Launch Announced

April 22, 2009 by kiboenterprises

It’s official! MMT will launch on Saturday 25th April at 9pm EST. Please take a look at the information page we’ve put together – and if you’d like to join our team powerbuild, let me know ASAP so I can add you to the list to be kept informed. GCT Resources will be incorporating MMT into the funded proposal, which will add value to our attraction marketing.

Network Marketing Is Like Climbing A Mountain

April 18, 2009 by kiboenterprises

For many years I’ve worked in the outdoor industry, things like team development and leadership training based around adventurous sports, and I still work at a school running a personal development program for 14-18 year olds. I’m passionate about the outdoors and the environment – I was born and grew up next to Mt Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, East Africa, and I guess this is where my love for the outdoors comes from.

So you might well ask, if that is my passion, why do I want to be stuck at a computer working online? Well, in 2005 I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and although I’m fairly fit and healthy now, I realise that this might not always be the case, so I wanted to establish financial security for my future, and with the internet being the fantastically huge marketplace that it is, it was the obvious place to start.

So I started network marketing online, and set up my website kiboenterprises.com to try and help other people get started online. It’s not a business opportunity, there’s nothing to join, it just offers some tips and, hopefully, useful advice, and there’s the option to sign up to receive email updates from me.

Now, I’m not claiming to be any kind of expert at this, I’ve made a lot of mistakes along the way believe me, but I’ve also learned a lot, about how to build relationships, and about marketing online. It very quickly became clear that network marketing is a lot like mountain climbing, or organising an expedition, or any sport for that matter.

Why? Well, they all require the same basic ingredients. First you need a clearly defined goal or target, and you need to keep this in mind throughout because you can’t always see this end point along the way. Secondly you need to plan your route – how are you going to reach your goal, and how will you know when you get there? Thirdly, what equipment will you need, and finally and perhaps most importantly, what support will you need, because ultimately it’s the teamwork that makes the difference. Even in so-called individual sports like motor racing the drivers rely heavily on the back up of the team.

And so too in network marketing – you need a goal, and your route clearly marked on a map, which is your business plan. You need the right equipment to manage your business – your computer, access to the internet, autoresponders, splash pages etc etc – everything you need for the day to day running of your business. And you need support – whether this is business support from the program you’re in and your upline or sponsor, support from your family, or support from the rest of your team. Once all these component parts are in place, you can get started, confident that you’ll achieve your aim. And when other people see that you’ve got a well-organised venture under way, they’ll be attracted to join you – they appreciate that you will offer them the same support and back-up that they have so that you too can reach your goal.
